Partnership campaign to begin today, May 21, with WNYT

At no cost to the school district, WNYT has produced a 30-second video highlighting the school district. It is being underwriteen by Dodge, Chamberlin, Luzine Weber Asscociates.

Here is a link to the video that will be aired on Channel 13 over the next two weeks. You will need Microsoft Windows Media Player to play this video. This is a large file, nearly 3 megabytes. It may be easier to download the file from the link above and play it from your desktop instead of trying to view it through the web browser.

Below is the writeup that will appear on the WNYT web site about the campaign:

Scotia-Glenville schools have been providing a quality education to the children of our community for nearly 60 years. Innovative programming, strong community support and quality teaching have set Scotia-Glenville apart for those six decades.
At Scotia-Glenville, We’re on to Something.

We know that all schools teach the core subjects along with additional academic opportunities. But we know it takes more than that to prepare tomorrow’s adults. In order to succeed in tomorrow’s technological and global world, children will need to have knowledge, be compassionate, show understanding and see themselves as part of the larger quilt of society. At Scotia-Glenville, our focus is on developing the inner student and preparing them to become successful citizens.

The Board of Education, administration, staff and 3,000 students at Scotia-Glenville Central Schools wants to thank Dodge, Chamberlin, Luzine Weber Associates Architects and WNYT for helping us get that message out through this partnership campaign.

Now the entire Capital Region will have the opportunity to see what all the talk is about at Scotia-Glenville.
