In accordance with Policy #1230, privilege of the
floor will be extended at this time to any person in attendance. The time allowed, protocol and
procedures are outlined in the “Welcome to a Meeting of the Board of
Education” brochure.

5. Budget Review: Board of Education, Central

Anticipation Note
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the
Revenue Anticipation Note Resolution, dated March 3, 2003, as submitted.
7. Routine Business
a. Staffing
1) Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
probationary appointment of Kimberlee Shartrand as Guidance Counselor (Senior
High) effective April 16, 2003 through April 15, 2005, with 2002-2003 salary at
the annual rate of $50,714 (Step 13 + M + 32), plus Guidance Counselor
supplement at the annual rate of $2,600,
and
further,
approve an additional rate of $962.50 (to be
grant-funded), effective April 16, 2003 through June 30, 2003, for supplemental
assignment of duties by the Guidance Department Chairperson. Ms. Shartrand has permanent
certification. This appointment is conditioned on the school district’s
receipt of clearance for the employee from the State Education Department
following a criminal history records check in accordance with the provision of
Education Law §3035.
2) Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
part-time appointment of Borzens Williams as School Monitor (Glendaal
Elementary School), effective March 4, 2003 through June 30, 2003, with
2002-2003 salary to be at the rate of $7.30/hour (8.75 hours/week). This appointment is conditioned on the
school district’s receipt of clearance for the employee from the State
Education Department following a criminal history records check in accordance
with the provision of Education Law §3035.

personnel and/or negotiations.
