The Scotia-Glenville Teachers' Association delivered breakfast to the six school buildings, district office and bus garage on Tuesday, Nov. 17, in celebration of the statewide SRP (School- Related Professionals) Recognition Day.

In 2007, the state Legislature designated the third Tuesday of November as School-Related Professionals Day.
"Our SRPs are an integral part of the education process, without which education would not be possible," said Eric DeCarlo, president of the SGTA.

SRPs include teaching assistants, teacher aides, monitors, bus drivers, custodial staff, secretaries and cafeteria personnel.
To celebrate this day, the SGTA will be making breakfast available in the various buildings throughout the district.

Teachers Sarah Hoffmann, Pat Collins, Eric DeCarlo and library media specialist Jan Tunison helped organized the breakfasts at the high school before they were distributed to the other buildings.
