Four Scotia-Glenville grade 11 students – Marissa Migliore, Grant Slingerland, Stephen Denny and Alex Gilgore – recently participated in an after-school microbiology program held at Schenectady County Community College in Schenectady.

Over the four sessions, students

"Our students had a very positive experience," said Randy Jenkins, academic head for science at Scotia-Glenville. He said the students described the program as "very rigorous and very hands-on work in a biology lab at SCCC."

The program was run by Renato V. Tameta, a biology professor at SCCC.
