Sacandaga Elementary School students participate in World Maths Day

Grade 4 students in Arlene Camp's class at Sacandaga Elementary School competed in World Maths Day on Wednesday, March 3. The students worked on netbooks as they answered math questions along with others around the world.

Last year, more than 2,000,000 students from 38,000 schools in 204 countries correctly answered over 452,000,000 math questions.

"My students were pretty excited about this event and to see who they were competing against and where they lived," said Camp. "Several of the students planned to log on in the evening and work on more problems."
