Two upcoming forums will highlight details of the proposed 2009-10 budget and bus purchase proposal as well as two building projects totaling $11.9 million.

The budget will reduce the tax rate by 0.5%. The building projects will not increase tax rates because of building and special EXCEL state aid, a debt reserve account and retiring debt in the coming years.

• The first forum will focus on the building projects at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, in the Middle School library.
• The second forum be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at the Middle School cafeteria following the hearing and presentation about the 2009-10 budget and bus purchase plan.

Voting will be held from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at the high school gym.
